Rushed Stool Class

Join craftsman Josh Waugh on February 25 in historic Center Hall from 1-6pm to learn how to do traditional rushing! Rushed seats have been around for centuries, and craftsmen in Arthurdale even made rushed seats in the 1930s and 1940s! For the class, all materials (including a 9×12? wooden stool and all rushing material) will be provided. We only ask that you bring a flathead screwdriver and hammer with you. Beginners and those aged 16+ are welcome. Registration is limited to 5 people, so sign up now! The cost is $110 for AHI members or $125 for nonmembers.
